This is the blog for the writings of Perdix, a British writer channelling an unhealthy obsession with creating worlds. The writings fall under two categories:

  • Original – works straight off the dome of Perdix themselves.
  • Magikarp Used Splash – a series in which Perdix takes the little-known extras from across various different TV, Film, Comic, Music, etc. sources and fleshes them out with back stories. The back stories aren’t intended to establish themselves as any form of EU, but just as a potential detail to unknown characters.

Initially Perdix sought writing representation through traditional means, as in, contacting literary agents, but got nowhere fast. Admittedly, that could be because the writing wasn’t very good, but regardless, this site was established to hopefully generate a following and prove that valuable content is being produced. Perdix is very keen to develop these works into media franchises, that’s the real dream here, so should you happen to be in a position to enable that, do not hesitate to get in touch.

These works are not intended to infringe upon any copyrights, plagiarise or otherwise ‘rip-off’ other people’s work; that said, adherence to category tropes and conventions can make it seem otherwise, all work is written as a Perdix original unless otherwise referenced. Inspirational starting points are noted.  No work is intended to represent any individual person, living or dead; any such similarities are coincidental. If you’ve any questions, please contact Perdix through the form below.

Cheers, Perdix
